Thor Tivol
Thor works as a theater technician and designer for the Sierra College Drama Department. He has been backpacking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains for more than twenty-five years. While hiking up Mt. Whitney is certainly one of the highlights, he also has many wonderful memories of hiking in Desolation Wilderness and Sequoia/Kings Canyon. His longest trip was thirteen days in the Kaweah area. He tries to get in two or three multi-day trips in every summer and considers himself very lucky to be so close to this magnificent mountain range.  |
